Jayashree Balachandran – The Co-Founding Director of Business School of Logistics and Shipping is a Zoology graduate from Women’s College, Kerala University, with a 22 years of experience in the International Logistics Industry. She is passionate about empowering & inspiring women to pursue Logistics as a career.
Started her career as Customer Service executive in 1992, who then rose to the position of Head of International Supply Chain at DHL Forwarding, India operations. As part of management development program in DHL, She underwent a one year Talent-Management Program at Welingkar Institute of Management, which honed her skills further on Operation Management.

John Prakash
John Prakash – The Co-Founding Director of Business School of Logistics and Shipping. He is a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Loyola Institute of Business Administration and bachelor degree in Commerce from Loyola College Chennai.
Has a total of 25 years of experience in the Logistics Industry that he started in the year 1990 . Is a specialist is Sales & Marketing of Liner Service of Containerized cargo. Had been with Mitsui-OSK-Lines, American President Lines and Maersk Line & Nile Dutch, container shipping line since 1990 to 2015 .
Has wide spread knowledge of express domestic logistics in setting up of distribution network for express courier Industry
Has a passion to empower youngsters with knowledge and skill to become employable in the Logistics Industry, by sharing practical and real-time experiences of the Industry. A good motivator to inspire young minds.
Shivaranjini Alagarraj
Shivaranjini Alagarraj – is a passionate logistics and supply chain professional. She holds a masters in business administration in Supply chain and Marketing Management from VIT University Vellore and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
In her experience spanning over a decade in the industry, she has worked in a multitude of domains including sales, operations, consulting and customer relationship management at various capacities in organizations like Kuehne Nagel, Beroe Consulting and Expeditors. She started her career from handling warehousing and distribution services, moving to warehousing solutions consulting and then into supply chain solutions sales.
She later held the position of key accounts manager wherein she handled global clients supporting, advocating and mediating supply chain solutions for them. Her rich and varied experience enables her to offer an excellent combination of skills and knowledge of the industry. She is keen in igniting the young minds as future logisticians through her experience and playing a role in shaping up their careers in the field.
J K Raghu
J K Raghu – Is a mathematics Graduate from the Madras University. A thoroughbred professional in Customs clearance procedure, which he specialized over 27 years of his career that started in 1992 with Lee & Muirhead.
He was the Team Head at DHL Logistics Pvt Ltd, till 2014 for Import/Export of back office operation of Air & Ocean Freight & EDI. From 2015 he is an independent Consultant and an academician.
He is an Awardee from the Tamil Chamber of Commerce for filing highest number of Bills of Entry ,Shipping Bills & Customs Duty payment paid at the Chennai Customs in the years- 2010, 2011 & 2012.
Subhashree Krishnan
As an Outspoken young girl out of college from south of Tamil Nadu,she stepped into this Metro City with a job of a medical representative – a quiet unheard of a woman becoming a medical representative in early 90’s.But for her,geneder is merely a word.
As an inquisitive person with thirst for learning, she took up all the more challenginng job in shipping.Her first job was with Bengal Tiger line in 1996.Her Knowledge in shipping grew along with her ground level experience .She started developing a core love and passion for shipping and logistics.
with 28years of experience ,she posses fairly good knowledge in almost all facets of shipping ,supply chain and logistics.
Today she is a first generation enterpreneure owning her own logistics firm.
As a responsible individual,Subhashree has few trusts that share a helping hand in empowering physically challanged and blind individuals.
